The live competition was hosted by Bonang Matheba, for the second consecutive year, at the Times Square Arena in Pretoria.
Miss South Africa 2019 has crowned its winner: Zozibini Tunzi, was crowned by her predecessor, Miss SA 2018 Tamaryn Green! She will now represent the country on a global stage at Miss Universe SA.
During the live competition on Women’s Day, Friday evening, 16 female contestants — competed for the coveted title. Zozibini made it to the top two and beat out Sasha-Lee Olivier.
Eastern Cape born model, Zozibini walks away with a lucrative R3-million prize package, which includes a R1-million cash prize, a new car and a fully-furnished apartment for the year of her reign.
Zozibini, “is a 25-year-old completing her BTech in PR from Cape Town,” according to her Miss SA bio.
