In 2018, Ambitiouz Entertainment lost high-selling acts like A-Reece, Benchmarq, Fefe Cooper due to frustrations with how they were treated. Fans soon began encouraging Emtee to follow suit. On July, 2nd 2019. Emtee began a #FreeEmtee campaign after he made several accusations about how he was treated by the record label.
With this move, we hope to see more collaborations coming his way. Like with Zakes Bantwini who has made it clear that he is still interested in working with Emtee.
