Limpopo’s Ndlovu Youth choir shines at America’s Got Talent

Ndlovu Youth choir is flying the South African flag high in America’s Got Talent. The choir perfomed live on Tuesday in the top 36 of the popular show.

The group went through to the semi-finals after being in the bottom 2 but was saved by the judges. They sang a rendition of U2’s Beautiful Day and blew everyone away.

The choir thanked their fans for the support on Social Media. “We’re living the dream and loving every moment of it. Thank you to everyone who loves and supports us, we love you back,” they wrote.

Far from the bright lights of Hollywood, the Ndlovu Youth choir originated from Moutse in Limpopo.

They have been around for a decade and they started as an after school programme for disadvantaged youth in the small village.
