South African model, tv presenter and doctor, Fezile Mkhize came second in the 10th Mr World pageant. The 28 year old almost snagged the title had it not been for England’s Jack Heslewood who won.
Fezile, who hails from Bloemfontein took to his Social Media to share his experience of the pageant.
“It’s been a demanding 3 weeks filled with everything you can think of, from physical trials and tribulations to mental exhaustion,” he said.
He revealed that he had grown to see the other 71 contestants as his brothers. “It has been more than I ever thought it would be and through it all I have proudly flown not just my beautiful country’s colors but held the African soil from which I come from in my heart,” he said.
The second runner-up was Brian Faugier from Mexico and Carlos Fanco from Brazil and Alejandro Martinez from Dominican Republic also made it to the top five.
