Moonchild Sanelly joins million voices of women who have been sexually assaulted and raped

With the #AmINext trending on social media following the rape and murder of UCT student Uyinene Mrwetyana, millions of women in South Africa took to social media to name and shame their perpetrators. One of those voices is a singer, Moonchild Sanelly who shared a series of tweet of how her uncles and cousins took advantage of her.

When asked if she forgave her Uncle, Moonchild Sanelly said her uncle does not know that she forgave him and that she did it for herself. She revealed that someone did the same to her uncle and the words he used on her were the same words used on him.

She went on to talk about how she was raped by a man she knew, she kept quiet because his family was downstairs and she wanted to protect him.

Then she tells us about how someone witnessed her being raped and did nothing
