The world’s most famous couple Prince Harry and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle are coming to South Africa! The couple are due to arrive in Cape town today to kickstart their Southern African royal tour.
They will be bringing their four month old son Archie on this historic trip. It will be their first journey as a family. The couple will begin by attending a workshop which teaches children about their rights and provides self-defence classes.
They’ll then proceed to the District Six Museum, which is a memorial dedicated to the 60,000 residents forced from their homes by the apartheid government in the 1970s. They’ll learn about the strides being taken in reuniting families from this area and they will also join a community cooking activity with former District Six residents.
During their stay in the country the pair also will get to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his wife, Leah, at the headquarters for their Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.
Prince Harry will then head to three other African countries (Botswana, Angola amd Malawi) while Meghan and Archie remain in the country!
