‘Idols SA’ 2020 to hold season 16 auditions in Cape Town on February 01

Think you have what it takes to be the next “Idols SA”?

The Idols SA is coming back to hunt for contestants for its sixteenth season. The singing competition series audition tour sets to kick off this this Saturday (February 1) at Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town. Singers who want to appear on the show can audition in person at these open call auditions.

Those interested can register in person and should aim to arrive onsite as early as possible.

Who should audition?

In order to audition you must have been between 16 and 30 years old. The prospective participant should be a South African citizen. To add to it, they should present a document that will act as proof of residence. For this case, a national identification card could serve this purpose. Apart from that, children who have not attained the legal age should bring with them a letter that has been signed by their parents or guardians to proof their consent for them taking part in the competition. Individuals who have a history of auditioning for the event are not allowed to audition for a second time unless they were among the top ten competitors in the round that they took part in the challenge.

“Idols SA” will air later this year on Mzansi Magic. Learn more about auditions at mzansimagic.dstv.com/show/idols.
