Somizi urges South Africans to stay home

As the number of coronavirus infections increase each day in the country, South Africans are on the verge of panic. Even with President Cyril Ramaphosa’s urge for not more than 100 people to congregate, the virus is still spreading.

Celebrities have began speaking out about the pandemic. Somizi took to Instagram to share his thoughts this past Sunday. The choreographer said he is afraid and sad. He encouraged people to stay at home if they can.

“I’m really scared. I’m terrified. I’m sad. It’s real I can feel it in the air and I’m sure I’m not the only one. I just want to urge again guys, let us do whatever we can to help combat or conquer or win this war,” he said.

He asked that people not leave their houses to attend any functions unless absolutely necessary. “If you have no reason whatsoever to leave home, please don’t.”
