Former general secretary of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), and vice-chairperson of the Millennium Labour COUNCIL, Vavi Zwelinzima tested positive for covid-19.
Vavi shared the news on his Twitter account. He said that he had lingering flue since Friday and decided to test on Saturday. They only checked his temperature but the flue became persistent. Vavi insisted on getting a proper check-up from the doctor. His results came back and he tested positivee.
